Safety doesn't happen by accident

Pictures like this are disturbing, and understandably so.  A few thoughts that enters ones mind when looking at a picture like this is, did the car driver make it out alive?  If he did, how bad was he hurt?  And, who was at fault?  Really, the first thought that should enter ones mind is, how could this accident have been avoided?

Concentration; being aware of what's going on far ahead, in your immediate area, as well as behind you is all so important.  The second a driver takes his concentration off the task at hand is when disaster will stike.  Be aware, be alert!
